Our Work

We have been very busy this October! We had a lot of work to do before our well deserved break. We enjoyed reading the story 'Room on a Broom' and 'The Wicked Fairy of Tara', pretending to be the various characters in the stories, creating silhouettes and spiders webs in Visual Art. We learned all about the environment and natural and man-made features in Geography. Our theme in Gaeilge was 'Ar Scoil agus Oíche Shamhna'. With all of this and Guided Reading and Maths Groups, we definitely deserve to put our feet up over Halloween! 

We loved writing about our summer adventures! We definitely all had 'buckets of fun!' :)

In September, our theme was all about 'Ourselves'. We enjoyed creating timelines in History and learning about our bodies in Science. Our favourite thing this month was creating figures of ourselves out of fabric and fibre in Visual Art. Here are some examples of our pieces! Check out the great writing 'as Gaeilge' too!
